A Note From Me from December 2024

Six years ago, Ben and I were in the thick of negotiating the purchase of our home—hardly the typical "holiday season" activity. We were juggling inspection repairs, a tenant move-out, and even wrangling keys on New Year’s Eve to begin our remodel on January 2nd. All of this was happening before we headed out of town for our honeymoon, just weeks before we got married. Yes, it was a whirlwind, and I admit, I tend to do things out of order.

But when I look back on all that we accomplished in such a short time, I’m amazed at how it all came together—and deeply grateful for the home we now share. Every holiday season, I think back on the stress it took to get here, and it reminds me of the pride I take in decking our halls, making memories, and welcoming others into our space to celebrate.
