Change Is in the Air & Under Our Roofs

Everywhere I look across the Valley, I see momentum.

New residential communities rising from the desert floor. Commercial and multi-family projects reshaping our skylines. Cranes staged across town. Roadwork and freeway expansions signaling long-term infrastructure investment.

Arizona is in demand — and that positions both residents and investors for a bright future.

How we feel today is the result of decisions we made five years ago. And how we’ll feel five years from now will be shaped by the consistency and fortitude behind the decisions we make today.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about time.

I don’t get the luxury of creating more of it — none of us do. So I’ve been focused on maximizing the moments I have. A simple time-and-energy audit (yes, in fifteen-minute increments) revealed something powerful: the greatest improvement to my well-being didn’t come from adding more — it came from refining what was already under my own roof.

Cleaning out my office. Decluttering closets. Improving workflow in the pantry and garage. The hidden spaces we rarely show others quietly shape how we see ourselves — and how we show up in the world.

With so many variables and distractions pulling at us daily, I’m seeing a clear trend in real estate: homeowners want intentional spaces that support connection and presence.

Dedicated game rooms. At-home theaters. Craft spaces. Reading nooks. Even mahjong rooms (yes — they’re officially a thing).

Five years from now, trends may shift. But today? Togetherness is in demand.

I’m personally choosing to create more zones for puzzles, pizza nights, card games, crafts, and meaningful connection. And I’m seeing buyers and sellers make similar choices — prioritizing homes that serve not just as shelter, but as a foundation for life.

If you’d like to evaluate your current space, explore renovation ideas, or dream about what your next home could offer, I would love to sit down with you.

And as always, if you or someone you know is looking to invest in their future — whether now or in the next 18 months — an introduction means the world to me.

Here’s to building spaces that build us back.
