A Note From Me from October 2024

On October 1st, Sky Harbor recorded a scorching 113°—the first time we’ve exceeded 110° in October! As many of you know, September brought record-breaking temperatures to Phoenix, once again putting us in the spotlight. While the heat can be intense and may leave us feeling a bit burnt out, a new season is here—Fall!

Just like our weather, the real estate market is intense but also seasonal. As we transition into the fourth quarter, now is an excellent time to consider buying real estate. Historically, this period presents unique opportunities, including motivated sellers and often lower prices. With less competition and a wider range of options available, buyers can uncover great deals before the market heats up again in the spring. I particularly love writing contracts that close on or before December 31st, as sellers are often more willing to accept not just the purchase price, but also concessions and favorable terms to close within the current tax year.
